Sample prep from gut biopsies

Posted By: Aline, on Mar 12, 2018 at 7:05 AM

Hi,

We are interested in doing 10x scRNA-seq to study immune cells from the non-inflamed and inflamed gut of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients. I was wondering if anyone has done 10x with gut samples? If so, do you have any advise on which media (RPMI/DMEM/etc..) is best to sort the cells into for later analysis? Any other tips/advice would be most welcome, as we are entirely new to this!

Best,

Aline

Hi Aline,

Thanks for posting on the 10x Community.  I reached out to our technical support team and they have provided some guidance below.

You may also want to listen to the sample preparation portion of our upcoming 10x-pert Workshop: Characterization of the Tumor Microenvironment with the Chromium Single Cell Immune Profiling Solution.  This is a live webinar where there will be an open Q&A session.
